Café Barista All-Rounder (current experience) – Redland Bay
Merak GF Café searching high and low for a Solid Team Member with experience as a Barista All-Rounder to join our energetic yet down-to-earth team — a close-knit group of passionate, hardworking people who genuinely care about great food, coffee, warm service, and each other.
The role starts as casual, with the intention to move into a part-time permanent position. Barista experience is essential, as is the desire to learn and grow into a Lead Café Attendant role in the new year.
The position begins at around 15+ hours per week, with the opportunity to increase as the café heads into its busy summer season (25+hrs per week).

What We Are Looking For
Part-Time or Casual Position (Barista + Café All-Rounder)
* Solid current barista experience – confident, consistent (latte art not essential)
* Strong customer service skills – friendly, proactive & team-minded
* Confident with POS, table service, and general café operations
* Available Sunday to Thursday (morning/day shifts)
* Friday or Saturday night (5 pm onward) availability is a bonus
* Reliable, willing to grow and take on more responsibility over time

* Calm under pressure, fast-paced and detail-oriented
* Organised and enthusiastic about good service
* Willing to learn (especially around allergen-aware service)
The Details
* Part-time: Min. 15 hours/week, potential for 25–30+ hours over Christmas & 2026
* Day shifts primarily, with optional night shifts
* Located at Merak GF Café, Redland Bay Village
