Job Description
A graduate civil engineer is required for a site development role at an engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of projects, including masterplanning, public realm enhancements, and sustainable urban drainage. They will be responsible for designing and analysing various infrastructure projects from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out assessments, analysis, and design tasks, preparing reports, models, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
* Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, including architects, environmental specialists, and planners.
* Meet with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders, undertaking site visits and surveys.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering (ideally 2:1 or above) and be interested in pursuing Professional Accreditation. They should also possess good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A passion for creating a sustainable future and shaping a better world is essential. Experience with digital methods and automation is desirable.
