About the Role
As a CSSD Instrument Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting safe, high‐quality surgical care.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring sterilisation practices comply with AS 5369 (2023) and infection prevention standards
* Working across all CSSD areas including Decontamination, Packing, Sterilisation and Loans
* Operating, monitoring and documenting machinery according to operational requirements
* Completing accurate documentation and reporting quality‐related activities
* Demonstrating flexibility to work morning/afternoon shifts and weekends as required
Essential Criteria
* Minimum 1 year experience as a CSSD Instrument Technician
* Certificate III in Sterilising Services (or currently working towards
* Commitment to maintaining current skills and professional knowledge
* Strong customer service focus and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Well‐organised with initiative and adaptability in a fast‐paced environment
* Basic to intermediate computer skills

Additional Information
Appointment is subject to a current National Police Check, WWCC (where applicable), evidence of right to work in Australia, and proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases (Category A Healthcare Worker).
