Product Officer
We have an exciting opportunity for a 6-month contract as a Product Officer in our Product and Marketing Department.
About The Role
Responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of both the deposit and credit product portfolios. The role ensures all products are accurately maintained, competitive, compliant, and aligned with Queensland Country's Member focused strategy. It plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency, system integrity, and collaboration across departments including IT, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Compliance.
What you'll be doing
* Supporting the ongoing management and maintenance of deposit and credit products
* Researching market trends, competitor products, customer insights, and industry changes
* Assisting with product reviews, recommendations, and improvement initiatives
* Coordinating and supporting product-related projects and system changes
* Working collaboratively with teams across IT, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Risk, and Compliance
* Helping ensure product information, systems, processes, and documentation remain accurate and compliant
* Contributing ideas that improve member experience, operational efficiency, and product performance
About You
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Analytical and problem‐solving capability with a naturally inquisitive mindset
* Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively across a range of teams
* Confidence researching information, identifying insights, and making recommendations
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
Experience and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or a related field
* Experience in assisting in the delivery of key projects and initiatives that have demonstrated successful results
* Previous experience in Product, Marketing, Credit, Finance, IT or Project Management
