About the Role
As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide practical, social and personal support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity and quality of life.
This is a community-based role where no two days are the same. You will be part of a team that values connection, reliability and making a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting
* Assist with domestic support such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
* Support community access including appointments, shopping and social outings
* Deliver companionship and emotional support
* Promote independence, choice and dignity
* Observe and report changes in client wellbeing
* Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
About You
* Passionate about supporting older people to live well at home
* Reliable, compassionate and respectful
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible and adaptable across different client needs
Essential Requirements
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care, Home & Community or equivalent)
* Current First Aid and CPR
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* NDIS Worker screening
* Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* Smartphone for rostering and communication systems
