**The Role**
The Project Support Officer (PSO) will play an active role within the team, assisting with packages of work, project documentation, procurement and providing administrative support for a range of project activities. The Project Support officer will play an important role in driving projects forward to achieve outcomes for a diverse range of stakeholders.
The PSO role will be accountable and require a well-developed understanding of compliance relevant to legislation, policy and procedures. Both roles will require people that can prioritise work, have problem solving skills and work as part of a diverse team.
The key duties and skills required for these positions:
- Experience with Defence Projects and/or ADF Capability Programs.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work within an integrated team of technical and non-technical personnel.
**About our Team**
The Integrated Support Centre (ISC), enables the 'Warfighter' through ASD's Support to Military Operations (SMO) function under the Intelligence Services Act 2001 (the ISA).
Through the Integrated Support Centre, ASD draws on deep technical expertise to help the Australian Defence Force, stay ahead of technology advancements in the region, including the introduction of 5th generation platforms and weapons.
- Collaborate and build working relationships across teams, projects and agencies in order to further integration activities and objectives.
- Contribute to broader team goals and strategic direction by developing and prioritising workflows and inputting to team outputs.
Prior experience or skills in the technical aspects of Defence capability integration activities is desirable but not mandatory.
