Overview
McCosker Contracting is delivering the Concrete Works Package for the Alpha HPA Plant in Gladstone, constructing over 10,000m3 of reinforced concrete structures over the next 12 months.
We are seeking a Civil Construction Supervisor with underground services experience on this project.
Job Details
* Weekdays: Monday - Friday
* Fly in, Fly out provision
* Meals, accommodation and flights provided
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Project Superintendent, you will provide effective hands‐on supervision of the project workforce to deliver contracted works in accordance with the client program. This includes effective management of workers including subcontractors, planning and monitoring daily work schedules, regular communication with site leadership and other stakeholders, encouraging a positive safety culture, and ensuring quality, safety, and environmental systems are met.
Qualifications
* Experience in supervising civil construction projects
* Knowledge of the civil construction industry
* Extensive experience in supervising workers and achieving performance outcomes effectively
* Extensive experience in civil and concrete works
* Knowledge and experience in the application of Integrated Quality Management and Safety Systems
* Ability to read and interpret drawings
* Ability to identify, analyse and solve technical problems
* Capacity to contribute to the development of reporting, progress claims, and safety documentation
* Qualification/training in Civil Supervision and/or equivalent years of experience
* Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence
* General Construction Induction (White Card)
