Overview
* Work on high-impact Defence capability tackling evolving CUAS threats, including real-world testing and validation
* Exposure to advanced system integration across sensors, effectors, and C2 in a strong engineering environment
* Contribute to long-term, mission‐critical Defence programs with experienced technical leadership
Life Days are the Leidos way of recognising that we all need extra time to take care of life. By working slightly more than the minimum weekly hours (2 hours per week for full‐timers), you can accrue up to 12 days of leave per year.
Requirements: You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to hold an NV-1 AGSVA security clearance.
Responsibilities
* Own V&V plans, procedures, and verification artefacts aligned to program requirements.
* Establish verification criteria, acceptance methods, and ensure requirements can be validated at system and subsystem level.
* Lead functional, integration, environmental, and acceptance testing across sensors, effectors, and C2 systems.
* Support and lead deployments, field testing, and trials in operational or austere environments.
* Maintain full traceability from requirements to verification evidence, analyse test results, and drive defect resolution with engineering teams.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar discipline (or extensive experience).
* Proven experience in integration, verification, or test roles within multidisciplinary environments.
* Practical experience integrating and testing hardware systems.
* Strong capability reading schematics, drawings, and interface documentation.
* Solid understanding of verification frameworks with strong problem‐solving ability in dynamic environments.
