Ballarat Emergency Department Registrar
Multiple Positions – Full time and Part Time
We are seeking Registrars to join the Emergency Department at Grampians Health – Ballarat Campus. These positions offer excellent training opportunities, including rotations through ICU, anaesthetics, and other specialty departments.
The Emergency Department has the following configuration:
* 19 beds main department
* Fast‐track
* Paediatric ED (5 beds)
* Short Stay Unit (12 beds)
* Front of house model
* Resuscitation areas (3 bays)
The hospital is being redeveloped and a new Emergency Department will open early 2028.
We manage over 60,000 presentations annually, with approximately 25 % paediatric cases and an admission rate of 24–25 %.

Qualifications
Candidates should be working towards or eligible for registration with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) or have a strong interest in pursuing Emergency Medicine training. At a minimum, applicants must hold General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
