Fire Safety Officer Role
The Fire Safety Officer is an integral part of ensuring the highest standards of fire safety across a campus.
* This vital role requires a fire safety professional with strong communication skills and a passion for education and compliance.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in fire safety within a relevant environment, knowledge of fire regulations and building codes, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or progress towards it.
* They will also be able to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the safety of a large and complex facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering fire safety training and education programs
* Assisting with fire safety compliance
* Conducting inspections and audits
* Responding to fire alarms
* Administering passive fire management systems
* Supporting continuous improvement in fire safety
Requirements:
* Fire safety professional with strong communication skills
* Possession of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or progress towards it
* Experience in fire safety within a relevant environment
* Knowledge of fire regulations and building codes
