Postgraduate Midwifery Stream – Registered Midwife Grade 2
12 months Fixed Term commencing February 2027
32 hours per week
Location: West Gippsland Hospital (Warragul)
Eligibility
* A Victorian‐trained Midwifery Graduate (citizen/permanent resident)
* A current Victorian resident – Distance Education Midwifery Graduate
* An Australian Interstate Trained Midwifery Graduate (citizen/permanent resident)
* A New Zealand‐trained Midwifery Graduate (citizen/permanent resident)
You must also:
* Be eligible for registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* Have not previously participated in a Graduate Nurse or Graduate Midwifery Program
* Have completed your Midwifery degree by December 2026 academic year.
Important: Vaccination Requirements
All staff employed in the healthcare/aged care sector are required to be fully (3 doses) vaccinated for COVID‐19 and Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.

All appointments are subject to the satisfactory return of professional reference checks, a current Police check and a current Employee Working with Children Check. All employees must hold a current entitlement to work within Australia. A six‐month probationary period applies to all new appointments.
