About the Role
This leadership position provides support to students, staff, and community members at a remote school. The successful applicant will work closely with the school's management team to develop academic, social, and emotional wellbeing programs for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team responsible for student attendance and engagement.
* Develop and implement attendance plans for primary and secondary students.
* Liaise with school-based attendance officers and external agencies to ensure effective communication and follow-up on absent students.
* Manage a list of students whose whereabouts are unknown.
The ideal candidate will provide regular feedback on attendance during weekly meetings and perform other duties as required by the school's management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated leadership experience in an educational setting.
* Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Strong knowledge of education procedures and strategies to ensure high-quality outcomes for all students.
The successful applicant will have a sound understanding of attendance procedures, students-at-risk strategies, and be able to build strong relationships with external partners.
