A Northern NSW hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Emergency Medicine from 09/02/2026 to 28/06/2026.Contact us for a copy of the rostersShift times:0800 to 1800 onsite + 1800 to 0800 oncallExperience:PGY4 or greater with 6 months critical care experience (Emergency, Anaesthetics or ICU)Must be confident working soloGP VMOs with Emergency Experience welcome to apply – however rate will remain the sameRate:$1800 per 24 hour block$75 per hour on days starting at 1700Part days paid at pro rata of daily rateBack up:Telehealth providing access to FACEMS at Coffs Harbour Health Campus 16 hours per day, 7 days per week.Telehealth providing access to a Senior Registrar at Coffs Harbour Health Campus overnight, 7 nights per week.Allowances:If driving own car can claim kms at approx $0.34c/kmAccommodation providedFlights capped at $450 return from Brisbane, Melbourne or SydneyHire car includedResponsibilities:Must be confident working solo.ED COVERAGE:* 24 hr coverage of ED from 0800-0800 (Weekdays)* 24 hr coverage (Weekends/Public Holidays)RAPID RESPONSE ON WARDS:* 24 hr coverage of ED from 0800-0800 (Weekdays)* 24 hr coverage (Weekends/Public Holidays)CLINICAL REVIEW OF INPATIENTS/RESIDENTS IF REQUESTED BY NURSING STAFF:* 24 hr coverage 0800 - 0800 (Weekends)* Any time if requested by nursing staff (Weekends/Public Holidays)WARD ROUND OF INPATIENTS:* Daily (Weekends/Public Holidays)MEDICAL REVIEW OF RESIDENTS:* Any time if requested by nursing staff Admission, examination, medication charts (Weekends)* Any time if requested by nursing staff (Weekends/Public Holidays)ADMISSIONS THROUGH ED AND PATIENT TRANSFERS TO COFFS HOSPITAL:* Admission, examination, medication & fluid chartsFor further information about this job, please contact Tahlia Sinclair on 1300 900 100.
