About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader & Campus Manager and Assistant Childcare Manager to join our team at Mercury Early Learning in Camberwell, VIC. This full-time role will see you leading a team of educators to deliver exceptional early childhood education and care for children aged 6 months–6 years.
What you'll be doing
- Providing educational leadership, mentoring and coaching to the childcare team
- Developing and implementing the educational program in line with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and quality standards
- Managing daily operations, including staffing, budgets, and administrative tasks
- Fostering strong relationships with families and the local community
- Continuously improving policies, procedures and practices to provide the highest quality care
What we're looking for
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education
- Significant experience in an educational leader and/or management role in a childcare setting
- Excellent knowledge of the National Quality Framework and industry regulations
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision‑making abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement
