We're partnering with a leading quantitative trading firm seeking a senior-level Production Software Engineer to join a high-performance engineering environment supporting large-scale automated trading systems across APAC.
This team sits at the core of the firm's production engineering capability, owning the infrastructure, tooling, deployment workflows, and operational systems that enable engineers to safely deploy and operate latency-sensitive trading platforms at scale.
The role operates across software engineering, infrastructure, and production systems with a strong focus on reliability, automation, scalability, and reducing operational friction across complex distributed environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build internal tooling, automation, and production engineering solutions
* Own projects end-to-end from architecture through deployment and monitoring
* Improve developer workflows, deployment safety, and operational robustness
* Work closely with software engineers, infrastructure teams, and trading systems teams
* Support scalable, high-trust engineering practices across production environments
What They're Looking For
* Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building systems at scale
* Deep understanding of Linux systems, distributed applications, and production environments
* Experience improving operational workflows, reliability, and engineering efficiency
* Systems-minded engineers who enjoy solving infrastructure and production challenges
* Python development experience highly regarded
Nice to Have
* CI/CD and deployment pipeline experience
* Infrastructure automation or configuration management exposure
* Experience in trading, low-latency, or other high-performance environments
