About the role:
We currently have an opening for a Factory Hand at Smart Steel in our Malaga branch.
Duties Include:
* Reading of wall frame drawings
* Reading of truss frame drawings
* Reading of floor joist drawings
* Competent & safe handling of workshop hand tools
* Working to the fast pace of the set job production job times
* Using the cutting saw for processing purlins & SHS/RHS
* Using the hydraulic cutoff shear for processing lightweight items.
* Assisting with packing of wall & truss packs ready for transport.
* Using the strap packing machine
* Responsibility of issued trolley & hand tools
* Occasional work on the roll form machine.
* General house keeping to maintain a clean safe work area.
