About Aspire
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten is entering its next phase of growth, with 42 services today and 20+ new centres opening each year. To support this expansion and ensure consistent, high‑quality leadership across our network, we are introducing a Centre Manager Capability Coach role.
This is a 12‑month contract with strong pathways to permanency. You’ll step into a well‑defined role with a clear induction framework, established training content, and close partnership with our Training & Development function. This role is ideal for an experienced Centre Manager who is passionate about coaching, capability uplift and building confident, well‑supported leaders.
The role is primarily onsite across Victoria, with interstate travel as required to support new centre openings and leadership cohorts.
About the Role
The Centre Manager Capability Coach is a hands‑on leadership capability role responsible for delivering Aspire’s structured Centre Manager Induction Program and strengthening leadership capability across our centres.
The role works in close partnership with Area Managers, Training Centre Managers and CM Buddies to ensure new Centre Managers receive consistent, practical and sustainable support throughout induction and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Centre Manager Induction & Capability Support
* Deliver Aspire’s structured induction program for all new Centre Managers.
* Partner with Area Managers to identify the most appropriate Training Centre for each new Centre Manager’s first week.
* Attend and facilitate Day 1 induction to establish expectations, systems access and operational foundations.
* Utilise CM Buddies as an extension of the induction process to provide ongoing, practical support.
* Facilitate fortnightly check‑ins during induction with the Centre Manager, CM Buddy and Area Manager to maintain visibility, accountability and early intervention.
Leadership & Group Training
* Facilitate Centre Manager training workshops and masterclasses across the network.
* Deliver systems training across core platforms including XAP, LineLeader, Storypark, Employment Hero, Netsuite and Aspire dashboards.
* Support Training Centre Managers to remain aligned to Aspire’s operational expectations and best practice.
Consistency, Governance & Feedback
* Maintain induction documentation and progress tracking.
* Provide regular updates to the Training & Development Partner.
* Identify capability gaps early and deliver targeted coaching.
* Support Area Managers to clearly understand their role in induction and ongoing Centre Manager support.
About You
You are an experienced Centre Manager who thrives on developing others and bringing structure, clarity and confidence to new leaders.
You will bring:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Centre Manager in a high‑quality ECEC environment.
* Strong operational knowledge across compliance, enrolments, staffing, budgeting, family engagement and centre presentation.
* Proven coaching, mentoring or training experience.
* Confidence facilitating both one‑on‑one and group learning sessions.
* Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
* A highly organised, structured and proactive working style.
Highly regarded
* Experience supporting multiple centres or delivering leadership capability uplift.
* Experience delivering structured training or induction programs.
* Hands‑on experience with Aspire systems (Storypark, Employment Hero, XAP, LineLeader).
