In this dynamic role, you’ll provide technical and after-sales support to both our service team and valued customers across the region.
You’ll draw on your industry knowledge to troubleshoot, guide, and resolve issues efficiently—sometimes with the support of your broader team—to ensure machinery is operating at peak performance.
Working closely with both internal teams and customers, your ability to deliver timely, professional solutions will help drive customer satisfaction and strengthen long-term relationships.
Some travel within WA is required, but we offer flexibility to ensure it fits with your lifestyle.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, live chat and in Person on site.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions or escalate to higher-level support teams as necessary.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner and provide clear and concise explanations of technical issues.
- Document customer interactions in our database, including details of technical issues, solutions provided, and customer information.
- Keep up to date with recent products, services, and technologies, and attend training sessions as needed.
- Always maintain a positive and professional demeanour and provide excellent customer service to all customers.
- Follow established policies and procedures, and comply with all regulations and standards
Requirements for the role:
- A solid technical Mechanical or Electrical background, with a passion for heavy equipment.
- A strong safety-first approach – for yourself and those around you.
- Provide excellent customer service to the service team, internal and external customers.
- Outstanding people skills to work with customers, suppliers, and our team to solve problems and deliver great service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Relevant trade qualifications and at least 3 years of hands-on experience working on construction equipment.
- Solid technical knowledge of earthmoving machinery (Volvo CE experience highly regarded).
- A background in product support or similar industry experience.
- The ability to conduct customer training and mentor internal staff.
- Professional presentation and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Strong computer literacy and a current C-Class or above driver’s licence.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
