Due to continued growth across the South West region, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our high-performing team. This is an opportunity to inherit and grow an established portfolio of customers while developing new opportunities throughout one of Western Australia\'s most active and desirable construction markets.

About the Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of trade, residential and commercial customers across Busselton, Dunsborough and Margaret River.

This is a relationship-driven role focused on identifying opportunities, winning projects, managing quotations and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

You will become a trusted advisor to your customers, helping them deliver successful projects while driving profitable growth for M&B.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing and growing an established customer portfolio
* Building strong relationships with builders, contractors, developers and tradespeople
* Identifying and converting new business opportunities
* Preparing and following up project quotations
* Securing residential and commercial project opportunities
* Conducting regular customer visits and site meetings
* Developing account growth plans and sales strategies
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer service
* Achieving sales, margin and growth targets
About You

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded sales professional who understands the value of relationships and enjoys helping customers succeed.

You will ideally bring:

* Proven success in Account Management, Business Development or Sales
* Experience within building materials, construction, hardware, timber or related industries
* Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
* Experience managing customer quotations and project opportunities
* Commercial acumen and a growth mindset
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive and customer-focused approach
* Current Australian Driver\'s Licence
* Most importantly, you are someone who enjoys being in front of customers, building trust, solving problems and creating long-term partnerships.
What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12 months, you will have established yourself as a trusted advisor to customers, strengthened key relationships, secured new project opportunities and contributed significantly to the continued growth of M&B throughout the South West.
