* Remuneration: $137,608 to $163,427 pa (LEVB) inclusive of $116,280 to $138,097 salary (full‐time equivalent) pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading OR $168,578 to $194,406 pa (LEVC) inclusive of $142,451 to $164,275 salary (full‐time equivalent) pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading

The Evaluation Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping the quality assurance, evaluation, and continuous improvement framework of QUT's newly established School of Medicine. The role has a whole‐of‐program focus, with responsibility for leading the design, implementation, and ongoing refinement of an integrated evaluation strategy that supports curriculum quality, educational effectiveness, and accreditation readiness. Reporting directly to the Dean and Head of School, the Evaluation Lead provides strategic leadership in program‐level evaluation, ensuring that evaluation activities are evidence‐based, methodologically robust, and aligned with internal governance requirements and external accreditation standards. The role has oversight of evaluation design, tool selection, data governance and analysis, and the synthesis of findings into actionable quality improvement insights.
What You Need To Succeed
* Completion of a PhD in higher education, health professions education, or a cognate discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant academic qualifications, professional experience and training.
* Demonstrated expertise in the design, implementation and leadership of program‐level evaluation in medical or health professions education, including the use of established evaluation frameworks to assess curriculum quality, educational effectiveness and learner outcomes.
* Proven experience in developing and managing integrated evaluation strategies across complex educational programs, including the use of qualitative and quantitative methods and technology‐enabled evaluation tools.
* Strong knowledge of medical education accreditation standards and quality assurance frameworks, with experience aligning evaluation activities and evidence to curriculum design, learning outcomes and external regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to analyse, interpret and synthesise evaluation data to inform decision‐making, continuous quality improvement and accreditation reporting, ensuring methodological rigour, transparency and compliance with university and external requirements.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and a strong track record of contribution to faculty capability building in program evaluation and educational quality assurance. Evidence of scholarly activity and/or research in health professions education, particularly in evaluation or quality improvement, will be highly regarded.
* Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups including academic leaders, professional staff, clinical educators and external partners, and to provide expert advice in complex organisational environments.
