Mathematics Teacher (Secondary)
to join our growing team from

. This full time position offers a rewarding opportunity to teach Mathematics from
Years 7 to 10
, with the ability to deliver
ATAR and General Courses
in
Years 11 and 12
– including
Mathematics Applications
,
Mathematics Methods
, and
Mathematics Specialist
.

Key Responsibilities
Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned Mathematics lessons for students in Years 7–12.
Teaching ATAR and General Mathematics subjects (Applications, Methods, and Specialist) in the Senior School.
Creating a positive, well-managed classroom workplace that supports both academic and personal development.
Developing assessments and tracking student progress, offering timely feedback and reporting to parents and leadership.
Supporting student wellbeing through active participation in the pastoral care and house programs.
Participating in school life, including co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and community events.
Collaborating with staff to develop high-quality teaching programs and maintain consistent academic standards.
Applying a biblical worldview to the teaching and learning environment.
Selection Criteria
A personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and active involvement in a Christian church.
Agreement with SCEA's
Statement of Faith

Foundational Beliefs
, and
Code of Conduct
, and a lifestyle consistent with these statements.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.
Eligibility for registration with the
Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
.
Demonstrated experience teaching secondary Mathematics, including senior school ATAR and General pathways.
A heart for inclusive education and a commitment to supporting every student's growth.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills.
A current
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
and
National Police Clearance
, or willingness to obtain them.
Experience in leading or contributing to mathematics curriculum development.
Familiarity with Christian Education settings and integration of faith into learning.
Ability to contribute to co-curricular activities or wider school initiatives.
