About the role

As a Territory Manager at Halter, you will drive business growth and ensure customer success within your designated territory. You will execute sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and meet ambitious growth targets while representing Halter on the ground. This role requires a proactive, hands‐on approach focused on expansion and long‐term customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
* Prioritize daily efforts that optimise growth performance and drive value for customers.
* Work closely with Product, Support, and other regional sales teams to share field insights and ensure the technology meets farmers' needs.
* Use critical thinking to manage a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success.
* Research new leads, manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to close, and consistently hit high‐growth sales targets.
* Maintain close relationships with customers after sale to ensure ongoing satisfaction, provide support, and address challenges with Halter's products.
* Partner with Support to resolve any issues customers encounter and ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
* Gather customer feedback and collaborate with Support, Product, and R&D teams to drive product improvements.
Qualifications & experience
* Sales & Customer Success Expertise: Value‐based sales experience, strong record of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships. Experience upselling to grow partnerships.
* Beef Industry Experience: Knowledge of beef operations and challenges; if lacking, deep passion and willingness to learn rapidly.
* Attitude: Play to the front of the jersey, thrive under pressure, own results, and bring authentic energy and passion.
* Territory Management: Ability to balance sales and customer success while making appropriate trade‐offs.
* Problem Solving & Collaboration: Resourceful, quick‐thinking, works well with cross‐functional teams.
* Willingness to Travel: Frequent travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospects.
