Job Description We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy and patient-focused general practice team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine dedication to patient wellbeing, combined with the ability to work efficiently and reliably within a structured general practice setting.
Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive nursing care within the treatment room, including wound care, immunisations, health assessments, and chronic disease management.
* Assist GPs with minor procedures and patient education.
* Conduct triage and manage patient flow to ensure smooth clinic operations.
* Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with RACGP standards.
* Develop and maintain practice policies and procedures including infection control, cold chain management, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Support efficient workflows within the practice, ensuring optimal use of resources and appointment structures.
Qualifications
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* At least 2 years experience in a General Practice setting
* Proficient at Best Practice Software
* Accredited Immunisation Provider
