We are currently seeking a full time Deputy Quality and Safety Manager based at our office in Canning Vale in Western Australia.

MTU Maintenance Australia Pty Ltd, based in Perth, is the regional contact for On‐Site and Field Service MRO solutions for Aero Engines (CF34 & CFM56) and Industrial Gas Turbines (LM2500 and LM6000) in the Asia‐Pacific region. As part of the global Maintenance On‐Site Service network, we have been combining technological expertise with in‐depth experience for over a decade to implement individual solutions directly at our customers' sites. Area of responsibility
* Focal point for operational quality and safety
* Facilitate audits by accreditation bodies
* Manage the audit schedule
* Carry out internal audits to ensure functioning QMS, SMS and ISO IMS
* Raise corrective and follow‐up actions as necessary for non‐conformance
* Carry out internal investigations and document findings where necessary
* Carry out mandatory meetings and document meeting minutes
* Carry out HSE inductions of new staff and internal regulatory training
* Process change management initiatives
* Amend documents in accordance with internal publication change request process
* Act as the Quality and Safety Manager when the incumbent is unavailable
* Ensure compliance with CASA Part 145 regulations, Part 42 regulations and DAMP as the DAMP officer
* Ensure compliance with ISO IMS (9001, 45001 and 14001) requirements
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years working in a CASA, EASA or FAA Part 145 AMO preferably in a quality or safety role
* Knowledge and familiarity with CASA Part 145 and Part 42 Regulations
* Experienced in carrying out internal audits and maintenance investigations
* Experienced in developing internal procedures and amending documents
Minimum Qualifications
* Diploma of Quality Auditing, Diploma in Aviation Management, Diploma in Aeroskills, or a relevant engineering degree
* Lead Auditor (ISO 19011 or equivalent)
* Safety Management Systems (SMS)
* Human Factors
* ICAM Lead Investigator Training (BSBWHS515)
* Cert IV in WHS (BSB41419 or equivalent)
* CASA Form 4 Approval for Quality and Safety Manager
Skills
* Fluent English communication skills across all levels of staff seniority
* Working knowledge and practical experience with the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, and MS Teams)

* Only candidates who have legal rights to live and work in Australia will be considered
* Must be able to obtain and hold a current ASIC card during the entire duration of employment
* Must be willing to travel occasionally to support business objectives
* Must be able to pass an initial employment drug and alcohol test and ongoing random drug and alcohol tests
