As a network engineer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding Australia's future by contributing to complex defence and national security projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Prior experience in Defence or consulting services is essential.
* Familiarity with network design, configuration, and support using technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, and next-generation firewalls.
* A strong understanding of network security, encryption devices, and intrusion prevention systems.
* Relevant vendor certifications or equivalent industry experience are required.
* Familiarity with VMware suite of products, Citrix VDI, Windows Administrative toolsets, Red Hat Linux, Wintel experience is necessary.
Due to the nature of the work, you must currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance. Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements is also mandatory.
