Join the Canstar Group as a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist alongside a 150+ person team dedicated to helping Australians make confident financial decisions every day.

In this senior individual contributor role, you'll own the CRM and lifecycle strategy, building new customer journeys and optimising existing ones at scale. You'll work closely with data, product, and content teams to create personalised experiences that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention.

This is a fixed-term opportunity to cover a period of parental leave. The contract length will be confirmed upon offer. We welcome applications from candidates seeking a high-impact role with a defined timeline.

What you'll be doing

* Own the end-to-end CRM communication strategy and design for priority product categories, building new and optimising existing customer journeys across email, onsite, app, and other in-product channels.
* Architect and build multi-channel lifecycle programs to keep customers engaged throughout their lifecycle, working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution optimised for the best customer experience.
* Build the playbook for the churn strategy and influence the broader personalisation agenda.
* Execute a rigorous A/B testing agenda to drive growth, meet OKRs, and enhance campaign effectiveness.
* Collaborate with content, design, data, and product teams to bring journeys to life and drive measurable results.
* Own reporting and analysis of lifecycle program performance; present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
* Ensure all programs comply with the Spam Act, Privacy Act, and any relevant financial services regulations.

Required skills & experience

* Extensive senior-level experience in CRM, SaaS, MarTech, or data-driven marketing.
* Proficiency in at least one major automation platform (e.g. Braze, MoEngage, Salesforce Marketing).
* A proven track record of delivering CRM strategies that drive performance, improve segmentation, and achieve KPIs.
* Comfort with large datasets and the ability to identify actionable trends and insights.
* Solid understanding of segmentation, personalisation, and customer journey mapping principles.
* Strong analytical mindset, comfortable building dashboards, pulling reports, and drawing actionable insights from data.
* Strong strategic skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and mentor to your team.
* A creative, results-driven mindset with the capability to think differently and develop new ways of working.
* High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
* Strong communicator who can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Desired skills & experience

* Experience in fintech, financial services, or a regulated digital industry.
* Working knowledge of SQL or a BI tool (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
* Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
* Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customisation.
* Design experience using Figma.
