Reporting to the Surface Infrastructure Mechanical Coordinator, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join the team at Oaky Creek Coal.
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop weekly maintenance schedules and compile reports and investigations to keep plant fit for purpose.
* Oversee execution of maintenance plans and optimise all operational and maintenance activities of surface infrastructure.
* Provide relevant information to ensure key performance indicators are met and improved.
* Maintain safety as a key priority throughout all tasks.
Key requirements:
* At least two years' experience in coal mining or similar heavy industry.
* Proven supervisory experience.
* Good interpersonal and teamwork skills; a hands‐on and driven individual.
* Relevant qualifications in a Mechanical trade (or equivalent).
* Experience interpreting Coal Mining Legislation Acts and Codes.
