Employer: ZOSHAR PTY LTD | Location: Southern River WA 6110 | Employment Type: Full-Time (Minimum 38 hours per week) | Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per annum plus Superannuation
Role: Cabler (Data and Telecommunications) to install, maintain, test, and repair telecommunications and data cabling systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients while ensuring compliance with Australian standards and workplace safety requirements.
Responsibilities
* Install, terminate, test, and commission telecommunications and data cabling systems.
* Lay and connect copper, fibre optic, and structured cabling networks.
* Install telecommunications equipment, network outlets, patch panels, and associated hardware.
* Diagnose and rectify faults in telecommunications and data transmission systems.
* Conduct testing and performance checks using specialised diagnostic equipment.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
* Ensure all installations comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
* Perform maintenance and repair work on existing telecommunications infrastructure.
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualification (Certificate III, IV) in Telecommunications, Data Communications, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
* At least 1-2 years of relevant full-time work experience as a Telecommunications Cabler, Data Cabler, or in a similar role.
* Sound knowledge of structured cabling systems, telecommunications networks, and industry standards.
* Experience working with copper and fibre optic cabling installations.
* Ability to read and interpret technical plans, schematics, and specifications.
* Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
* Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* A current Australian driver's licence is desirable.
