Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role based in the Greater Brisbane Area for a First Aid Trainer & Assessor. The role involves planning and delivering accredited first aid and CPR training sessions to a diverse range of learners, including individuals, workplaces, and community groups. The trainer will demonstrate practical first aid techniques, facilitate scenario-based learning, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Day‐to‐day tasks include preparing training materials and equipment, assessing learner competency against set standards, providing constructive feedback, and accurately maintaining training and assessment records. The role also involves staying current with first aid guidelines, contributing to continuous improvement of training resources, and collaborating with the broader team to support course quality and consistency.
Qualifications
* Background in emergency response environments, including Emergency Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) highly desired
* Clinical or pre-hospital care experience such as Paramedic practice or related Medicine experience highly desired
* Nationally recognized training and assessment qualification (e.g., Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher).
* Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learner groups and adapt to different learning styles.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct practical assessments, provide clear feedback, and maintain accurate administrative and compliance documentation.
* Current first aid and CPR certification, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with first aid guidelines.
* Reliable, organized, and punctual, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment and represent Fluid First Aid professionally on client sites.
