A sports organisation is seeking an intern to assist with its student engagement program, supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of key events and initiatives, including:
* National university sporting competitions (Sept 2024)
* Interfaculty sports events and a university-wide competition (Sept 2024)
* High-Performance Academy programs (Oct & Dec 2024)
* Annual end-of-year sports awards (Oct 2024)
* Orientation Week for incoming students (Feb 2025)
* University Basketball League (Dec 2024 – Mar 2025)
This sports business administration role provides hands-on experience in event planning, program delivery, evaluation, marketing, and logistics. Additionally, involvement with the high-performance academy and university basketball team offers exposure to semi-professional sports, including marketing, player recruitment, and allied health support such as sports psychology, strength and conditioning, and fitness testing.
The intern will receive guidance and support from the organisation's senior management team.
