Family Services Program Lead
We are seeking a skilled Family Services Program Lead to drive the success of our family services and family violence programs. These initiatives aim to strengthen families, improve child wellbeing, and foster better opportunities and outcomes for children.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the child and family service system, including legislative and policy frameworks. They will also have expertise in theoretical approaches to casework practice for vulnerable children, young people, and families.
* Required qualifications include a relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood Specialist or related behavioural sciences at degree level with substantial experience; post graduate qualification; associate diploma with substantial experience.
* A full Victorian drivers licence is also essential.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Excellent case consultation and advice skills for complex cases, particularly around safety and wellbeing assessments.
* Expert knowledge of trauma-informed service delivery and therapeutic approaches to working with families.
* Demonstrated excellence in strengthening others through modelling, communication, coaching, and mentoring.
* Ability to manage and drive change to create effective relationships internally and externally.
* Highly developed project planning and delivery skills within required timeframes.
* Ability to lead, advocate for, and promote best practice in family services programs.
* Ability to self-reflect, take feedback, and use supervision opportunities to improve practice and leadership.
* Highly developed report writing and record keeping skills.
