About the role
RJ Custom Joinery is seeking an experienced Timber Windows and Doors Joiner, Carpenter, Cabinet Maker or Wood Machinist to join our team in Leongatha, Victoria. This full-time role will involve the manufacture of high-quality timber windows and doors for both residential and commercial projects.
What you'll be doing
* Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber components to create custom windows and doors to client specifications
* Operating woodworking machinery such as saws, routers, and sanders to fabricate timber products
* Assembling and finishing timber frames, sashes, and panels
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
What we're looking for
* Qualified experience in joinery, cabinet making, carpentry, wood machinist or related timber trades
* Proficiency in operating a range of woodworking machinery and tools
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to precise measurements
* Knowledge of timber properties, finishes, and construction techniques
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* A keen eye for design and an understanding of architectural styles
* A current driver's license and a willingness to travel to job sites as required
* Australian work rights are required for this position
