Aged Care Workers play a vital role in the lives of the older persons by providing quality, responsive and compassionate care that supports a trusted and long-term relationship with our older persons. Working closely with the Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the collaborative healthcare team, the Aged Care Workers will provide person-centred care to support the older persons.

About you

sensitive and adaptable to older persons different personalities, cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances
Role requirements
certificate III in Individual Support/ Home and Community Care or equivalent qualification
experience working in an Aged Care residential facility (desirable)
experience working in remote areas (desirable)
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'
a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence
current flu vaccination (recommended)
About the offer
This is a remote position in the Lower Gulf on a 6 week on 2 week off rotating roster.
This roleprovides significant overtime opportunities; on average our aged care workers annual remuneration is around $148k plus super.
