We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Ophthalmic Product Specialist to join our team. Based in Brisbane, this role will support our valued customer base throughout Metro and Regional Queensland.
This is a dynamic, field‐based sales role suited to a commercially minded professional who thrives in an autonomous environment. You will take ownership of your territory, drive revenue growth, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen long‐term partnerships with ophthalmic customers. Working closely with our Service and Operations teams, you will deliver product expertise, tailored solutions, and exceptional customer experiences to ensure both customer satisfaction and sales performance targets are achieved.
Your Responsibilities
* Promote and sell our full range of ophthalmic and optometry instruments
* Develop and maintain relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, dispensing opticians, hospitals, clinics, and other relevant healthcare professionals
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and cold calling
* Understand customer needs and provide expert support and training on our products
* Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support product management and development
* Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and performance objectives
About You
* Proven success in sales, preferably in the ophthalmic/optometry or medical device industry
* Strong understanding of the ophthalmic/optometry market and its key players
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* Self‐motivated, results‐oriented, and able to work autonomously
* Computer literate and proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel
* Adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of customers in changing business conditions
