Job Description
How you'll make a difference
* Deliver highway and road design works including horizontal/vertical geometry, pavement design, drainage interfaces, and related civil infrastructure components.
* Produce technical outputs such as calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications in accordance with AECOM procedures and applicable design standards.
* Support project delivery by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to design reviews, technical discussions, and project meetings.
* Assist during construction phase by addressing RFIs, site queries, and providing design clarifications while ensuring compliance with scope, time, and budget.
Qualifications
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Typically 2–5 years of post‐graduate experience in highways, transport, or civil infrastructure design.
* Working knowledge of road design standards (e.g., Austroads, Main Roads or equivalent) and knowledge and willingness to get familiar with software such as Open Roads, 12d, AutoCAD.
* Progress toward professional engineering registration (e.g., Engineers Australia or equivalent).
