Are you confident, friendly, and love engaging with people? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Book Sales Assistant to help promote and sell the inspirational book It’s Not Where You Start from our stall in a busy shopping centre(s).
About the Role
As a Book Sales Assistant, you’ll manage a stall within a shopping centre, engaging shoppers, promoting the message behind It’s Not Where You Start, and driving sales. You’ll represent the author and the spirit of the book, creating an inviting and positive atmosphere that encourages people to stop, chat, and buy.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage with shoppers in a warm, approachable manner
- Confidently promote and sell It’s Not Where You Start to a wide range of customers
- Share the story and message of the book with enthusiasm and authenticity
- Manage stock, handle cash or card transactions, and maintain an organised display
- Report daily sales and feedback to the management or author
- Ensure the stall remains tidy, professional, and inviting throughout the day
About You
- Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys speaking with people
- Confident in promoting and selling products face-to-face
- Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
- Passionate about books, personal growth, or inspiring others
- Professional in appearance and communication
- Experienced in sales, promotions, or customer service (preferred but not essential)
