ICT Infrastructure Specialist
The ICT Infrastructure Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring seamless technology operations within an organization. Key responsibilities include providing technical support to staff, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, and maintaining computer systems and peripherals.
Main Responsibilities:
* Technical Support: Provide expert assistance to staff, diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
* Network & System Maintenance: Oversee the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of LAN / WAN networks and Wi-Fi systems, ensure systems are protected with up-to-date security patches and antivirus software.
* Staff Training & Development: Assist staff in understanding and effectively using IT systems, maintain documentation and guides for staff and internal IT procedures.
* Asset Management: Manage accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and warranties, oversee the setup of new devices and the decommissioning of old ones.
