Experienced Psychologist (area of practice endorsement highly regarded)
As an Experienced or Senior Psychologist at The Kidd Clinic, you'll provide high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming psychological services with the option of supporting the growth of our team and programs. You can work with children, adolescents, and/ or adults to deliver assessments, therapy, and consultation grounded in evidence-based and trauma-informed practice.This role combines direct clinical work with opportunities to supervise early-career psychologists, contribute to service development, and collaborate across our multidisciplinary, bi-coastal team.
We welcome psychologists with expertise
in one or more
of the following:
* Comprehensive developmental, Autism, ADHD, and psycho-educational assessments
* Therapy for Autistic children, adolescents, and their families
* Counselling for adults, particularly women, discovering Autism later in life
* Neurodivergent couples and relationship counselling
* Supporting Autistic clients experiencing challenges with eating
* Clinical supervision and leadership within a neurodiversity-affirming team
You'll have the opportunity to shape services, mentor early-career psychologists, and work alongside a thoughtful, friendly, innovative, and values-driven group of clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and developing tailored treatment plans
* Providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families across a range of presentations
* Supervising and/ or mentoring psychologists and allied health team members
* Supporting program development, training, and quality improvement
* Maintaining accurate records in line with ethical and legal standards
Knowledge & Skills
* Understanding and implementation of neurodiversity affirming practice.
* Function with a high degree of initiative and experience, under limited direction, in the role of an experienced or senior psychologist.
* Ability to liaise effectively with other health professionals and external agencies both on individual client-management matters and on general service issues.
* Highly developed verbal and written communications skills.
* A thorough knowledge of the laws and ethical standards governing a private psychological practice.Good attention to detail.
