Your new role
As Building Manager, you'll take the lead in establishing this client's construction operations in Townsville. Starting with 100 homes (built in stages of 10-20), you'll oversee delivery of House & Land packages and investor products. You'll work closely with the Melbourne-based team with inhouse design, estimating, and procurement, while building a strong local network of trades and suppliers. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee up to 3 Supervisors and ensure quality, safety, and program across your projects.
What you'll need to succeed
* QBCC licence (or ability to obtain) and solid construction knowledge
* Extensive experience in residential construction in Townsville.
* Strong local knowledge of suppliers, trades, and market practices
* Proven ability to deliver homes and manage teams effectively
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach and excellent communication skills.
