* Full-time position with monthly accrued day off

* Between $100,776 and $110,102 per annum, plus $15,900 per year in salary packaging options.

About The Role

The Orange Door Practitioner – Child Wellbeing will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of practitioners to deliver high quality, safe and effective responses to families — including infants, children and young people — impacted by family violence. Based on the Best Interest Case Practice Model (BICPM) framework, the practitioner will gather information and use professional judgement across the core functions of assessment and planning to achieve successful outcomes for children and families. The practitioner will assess the wellbeing of children in line with the BICPM for all cases involving children and young people, taking into consideration safety, stability, development and culture, age and stage of life.

Skills & Experience

* AQF level 7 qualification (Bachelor's Degree, Graduate Certificate, Master's Degree) in a relevant discipline or be working towards this qualification level in line with Recommendation 209 of the Royal Commission.
* Experience working with adults using family violence, children and families with complex needs and risk issues in any of the following service areas: Family Services, Child Protection, Family Violence, Disability, Housing, Mental Health and/or Alcohol and Other Drugs.
