Iron Mountain is seeking anexperiencedIT Technician to join ourInformation Technology (IT) team.
In this role, you will be responsible formaintaining, diagnosing, and repairing all IT systems, including hardware, operating systems, and software, to ensure full operational status and compliance with all security standards.
You will play a critical role in supporting innovation and ensuring the reliable performance of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Leadthe systematic troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of various IT hardware, including servers, desktops, and laptops, and perform component replacement to restore full functionality and prevent downtime.
Develop and managestandardized system deployment by utilizing disk imaging tools and installing operating systems, while collaborating with IT support staff to provide clear, timely technical solutions to users.
Ensurecompliance with organizational and regulatory standards by performing secure data sanitization on storage devices before reuse or disposal, and maintaining accurate documentation for all repairs and asset status for audits.
Qualifications
Experience as an Information Technology/helpdesk Technician.
Strong knowledgeof hardware technology, concepts, data sanitization, and computer hardware, including Servers, Personal Computers (PC) Desktops, Laptops, and Printers.
Proven abilityin analytical and problem-solving abilities to provide accurate root cause analysis for complex issues.
University degree/diplomaortwo (2) yearsof equivalent work experience.
