We are seeking a full-time Accountant to join our team. This role offers exposure across a broad range of accounting functions, with optional audit experience for candidates interested in developing in that area.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with 3–5 years experience who enjoys varied accounting work, values accuracy and professionalism, and wants to apply their technical skills in a supportive team environment.
The opportunity
In this role, you will assist with a variety of accounting and client-focused tasks, including:
* Preparing financial statements and management reports
* Preparing tax returns, BAS, GST and compliance work
* Supporting bookkeeping, reconciliations and month-end processes
* Working with clients and internal team members to resolve queries
* Assisting with audit-related work where required or where there is interest
* Maintaining accurate records and supporting general accounting functions
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a similar field, or equivalent experience
* 3–5 years experience in accounting, business services or audit
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
* Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise work effectively
* Strong communication skills and professional conduct
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
