About AAPM

Australian Aero Propeller Maintenance (AAPM) is one of Australia's leading aircraft propeller maintenance organisations, supporting General Aviation operators nationwide. The Opportunity

AAPM is seeking a motivated and reliable Stores & Procurement Officer to join our Dingley facility. This is a 8-month full-time contract position, with the possibility of extension or the role becoming permanent, ideal for someone looking to build a career in aviation logistics and stores within a regulated maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring stores are operated in compliance with AAPM Part 145 MOE's and CASA/EASA regulatory requirements
* Purchasing commercial and aircraft parts in support of company operations.
* Receipt, issue, storage, packaging, and dispatch of aircraft parts and non-aircraft items
* Updating electronic inventory systems for receipting, issuing, and disposal of items
* Maintaining appropriate stock levels and carry out stock takes as required
* Incoming inspection of components and materials, including conformity checks against delivery requirements
* Identify and propose improvements to stores processes and procedures
* Promote workplace safety by identifying hazards and reporting issues beyond your area of control
* Perform other reasonable duties as directed by the supervisor
Selection Criteria
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
* Knowledge of aircraft components or aviation maintenance environments (advantageous but not essential)
* Prior stores or warehouse experience (advantageous but not essential)
* Current Driver's Licence (manual)
* Current Forklift Licence (essential)
