Everton Park Hotel is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Venue Manager to lead one of Brisbane's largest and most diverse hospitality destinations.
A much-loved local institution on Brisbane's north side, Everton Park Hotel has evolved into a true multi-offer venue, bringing together a large food and beverage operation, expansive beer garden, gaming, TAB, accommodation and family entertainment experiences. With multiple revenue streams, a large team and a strong community presence, this is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a high-volume and operationally complex business.
This is not your typical Venue Manager role. Everton Park Hotel requires a resilient and adaptable leader who can confidently navigate the demands of a large-scale operation while balancing guest experience, team development, operational excellence and commercial performance.
About the Role
As Venue Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the venue's operation, leading a large and diverse team while driving profitability, operational standards and customer engagement.
Working closely with Operations and Head Office support teams, you will have the autonomy to influence venue performance while being supported by one of Australia's leading hospitality groups.
You will play a key role in:
* Driving venue profitability and operational performance

* Managing labour, wages and cost controls across a complex operation

About You
You are an experienced hospitality leader who thrives in large, fast-paced and operationally complex environments.
You bring strong commercial acumen, exceptional people leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. You are comfortable leading from the front, developing teams and driving performance while maintaining a strong connection to your venue and community.
Ideally, you will have:
* Proven experience managing a large hospitality venue or multi-faceted operation
* Strong understanding of food and beverage, gaming and licensed venue operations
* Demonstrated success leading large teams and developing future leaders
* Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management
* Experience managing labour, stock control and operational performance
* The ability to drive revenue growth and identify business opportunities
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* A hands‐on, solutions‐focused leadership style
