SAP Basis Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
* SAP System Implementation and Upgrades: Lead the implementation and upgrade of SAP systems according to client specifications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
* Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert level technical support and troubleshoot complex issues within the SAP Basis environment.
* System Monitoring and Performance Optimisation: Monitor SAP systems to ensure peak performance, implement performance tuning, and conduct regular system health checks.
* Security Management: Implement and manage SAP security settings and user administration, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal regulations.
* Backup and Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive data backup and recovery procedures, testing them regularly to ensure they meet the required service levels.
* Project Leadership and Mentoring: Lead smaller SAP Basis projects, providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
* Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Maintain up-to-date documentation of all SAP systems, processes, and configurations. Conduct effective knowledge transfer to end-users and other IT teams.
* Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, understanding their needs and translating these into technical requirements. Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Must have an active AGSVA Baseline Clearance, preferred to have AGSVA NV1 Clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
* Must be an Australian Citizen
* Mandatory to be on site 5 days a week.
