About the Role
Making Lives Better and Happier Ageing are at the heart of everything we do, enabling us to support members of the ageing and disability community to live fulfilling lives at home for as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
To meet the diverse needs of our clients, we provide care around the clock. Visits may be scheduled in the early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight, ensuring support is always available when it is needed most.
Responsibilities
* Provide in-home care and support to clients based on individual care plans.
* Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care as appropriate.
* Monitor clients and report changes to the care team.
* Coordinate with family members and other care professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with policy.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines and professional standards.
* Communicate compassionately and respectfully with clients and their families.
Qualifications
* Previous caregiving experience preferred; entry-level applicants considered with suitable attitude and training.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight shifts.
* Reliable, patient, and caring with a person-centered approach.
* Ability to obtain any required certifications and clearances.
