About the opportunity
The Key Project Specialist is responsible for identifying, qualifying and progressing major construction project opportunities, while building strong engagement with key contractors, end users and influencers. The role supports early project involvement, market intelligence gathering, understanding scopes of work and collaboration across internal teams to maximise opportunity conversion.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and track major construction projects across your assigned territory.
* Build relationships with contractors, end users, safety advisors and other project stakeholders.
* Engage early in the project lifecycle to position Milwaukee solutions effectively.
* Maintain accurate project and contact information in Salesforce/CRM systems.
* Share market intelligence and collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales, product and specialist teams.
* Support strategic project targeting through proactive planning and follow-up.
Skills and Experience required
* Minimum 2 years of trade experience or relevant graduate degree.
* Proven experience in construction sales or a related industry-facing role.
* Trade background and/or tertiary qualifications preferred.
* Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
* Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills.
* Strong organisational, time management and problem‐solving capability.
* Full driver's licence and excellent driving history.
