Job Description
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering complex and high-impact projects across the country. You will contribute to feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management, collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions.
Key responsibilities include structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways, and appurtenant structures, conceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of dams, inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams, construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data, and construction reporting, as well as preparation of tenders and proposals and providing mentoring.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings, and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
* Positive attitude and ability to see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and grow.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and local industry, whether through project work, client initiatives, or industry associations.
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline (essential).
