About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our boutique residential building firm for high – end renovations and custom builds. You will be an integral part of our skilled trades team, contributing to the successful delivery of new and old custom‐made windows to our clients directly from our factory base in Braeside. Reporting to the Project Manager daily you will be required to take on a variety of carpentry tasks around Melbourne – from detailed residential to fast paced maintenance and office fit out work.

* This role is the vital link between our design phase and completed product, allowing our site teams to work faster and more accurately. Your ability to manage material waste directly impacts on the profitability and scheduling of every home we build for our clients.
* As our main leading Carpenter, you will be integral to our operations, directly supporting the construction, installation, and maintenance of structural and finishing elements across our projects. It will be essential to ensure that all buildings work / carpentry are completed efficiently, safely and to the required quality standards.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
* Construction and Structural of Timber and Steel framing on site
* Installation of recent Timber windows & Doors, Cladding, Skirting and fixtures
* Decking construction and Installation
* Running jobs and coordinating small teams on site
* Reading and interpreting construction drawings with accuracy
* Bathroom, Kitchen and Laundry renovation carpentry
* Maintain a tidy, safe and well‐organised site in accordance with OHS requirements
* Work across multiple locations with varying project scopes
Skills & Experience
* Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) CPC5022
* Employment duration (minimum 2 years)
* Attention to Detail: A highly skilled Carpenter with an eye for precision to ensure seamless joints and functional hardware installation.
* Team Collaboration: Communicating effectively with Project Manager, designers, architects and other tradespeople and meet production deadlines.
* Reliability & Discipline – Showing up on time and following a methodical daily routine is highly valued by employers in this schedule–driven industry.
