The role is focused on the day-to-day fleet allocation management including allocation of the sub-contractor fleet. To be successful, you must have recent experience in the transport industry as an allocator working with palletised freight and extensive knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day to day fleet activities
* Coordinate daily scheduling and routes/deliveries
* Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
* Lead and monitor fleet performance focusing on systems, procedures and processes for continuous improvement
* Focus on COR with emphasis on Load Restraint & Fatigue Management
Requirements
* Recent palletised freight fleet allocations experience
* Strong background in transport logistics and road fleet management
* Extensive knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan areas
* Good understanding of COR exposure
* Ability to work under stringent time frames and fast-paced work environment
* Proficient in MS Office; specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
